A huge success, this show received 1,200 letters a week from Viewers

across 3 provinces, with fantastic ratings as well. This was a new concept

and format which created a lot of Content. A ‘branded block of Disney

Cartoons‘ with hosted segments airing on Weekend mornings with endless

sales promotions and, we launched the first web site for a youth show in

Canada and ‘blew Baton’s server’s every weekend’ - It makes me smile.

1994’  YTV - Producer, Writer, Director - PJs, The Treehouse, The Zone & Alley

This was live to air interstitial programming. I had a huge role in this. I was also:

Production Coordinator, Field Producer - PJs, Grogs, Fuzzpaws

Production Coordinator - ‘StreetNOISE’ & ‘Kids Help Phone Special’

We pioneered “branded programming blocks” Our PJs YTV team created

‘stunt programming’ in Canada and contests and interactive promos. All that

stuff started in Kids TV. We had to constantly create new formats and find

ways to generate revenue. Also, Kids TV covers every aspect of life. So there

were field shoots and endless segments produced on everything from sports

to music to human interest. Every local event and industry was a field shoot.

The fax machine, computer, cel phone and internet were all introduced

during my media career. We used to make TV without all that stuff.

The coolest music show ever, out of London, New York & Toronto.

1987’  CBC - News Room Receptionist - ‘The Journal’ & ‘Midday’

May I please mention - there was no voicemail or internet and definitely
